    FFL Plants & Pollinators App
    Your Guide to Choosing Florida-Friendly Plants


    This new version of the FFL Plant Guide app incorporates all the data from the FFL Butterfly Garden and Bee Garden apps as well as new, expanded plant data and features.

    This free app is available for iOS and Android, or can be used with any internet browser.

     

     

    Comprehensive data and photos from expert sources

    App browse tabs: Plants, Butterflies, Bees, Invasive

    • 500 Florida-Friendly plants: size, appearance and colors; light and soil requirements; drought- and salt-tolerance; toxicity; wildlife benefits; and additional details
    • 64 Florida butterflies: descriptions, host plants, habitat, flight period and life-stage photos
    • 12 Florida bee groups:  taxonomy detail, descriptions, defining characteristics, and behaviors
    • Invasives: more than 170 non-native invasive or high invasion risk plants to avoid, with Florida-Friendly alternative suggestions for each

    Quick, convenient searching

    • Integrated Search Bar:  Find plants, butterflies, or bees with one home screen search
    • Guided Plant Search: Use the Q&A format to quickly generate plant suggestions
    • Powerful Filter: Select plant characteristics from multiple categories to customize your plant searches

    Save and export plant lists

    • Sign in to save multiple, custom named plant lists and use them across devices
    • Or, save individual plant "Favorites" on your local device
    • Print or export your lists and favorites to pdf in your selected format: include details or only plant names and links.
